Israeli PM Ehud Olmert Calls People Who Believe The Bible About Israel, "Fanatics"

By Jimmy DeYoung

The Israeli PM addressing the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, said that only fanatics believe that in this day and age, and in the current situation, it is still possible to cling to the vision of greater Israel as called for in the Bible.

The prime minister said that today, we face the choice between a greater Israel and a Jewish nation. The two, he said are mutually exclusive and they only exist together in the minds of deluded fanatics who misconstrue reality. One member of the Knesset said that the statements of the prime minister were from someone who himself was delusional and at the end of his political rope.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The statements from a troubled Israeli PM that call people who believe the Bible delusional fanatics is in total contradiction to what Bible prophecy says about greater Israel.

Ehud Olmert, the PM of Israel who is in very bad political trouble, who many believe is at the end of his political career, seems to be grasping for a lifeline with his recent diplomatic efforts and now, his harsh statements about people, both Jews and Christians, that believe the Bible. PM Olmert has been the leader of a number of giveaways of Israeli land, i.e. the Gaza Strip Jewish settlements and is now ready to give away the Golan Heights and 90 percent of all of Judea and Samaria, including the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.

God's Word, His prophetic Word, says there will be a greater Israel with 10 times the land they have today, Genesis 12, 15, Deuteronomy 30, plus 35 other prophetic passages. The ancient Jewish prophet Ezekiel, wrote 2,500 years ago that this greater Israel will be in operation during the Millennial Kingdom when Jesus Christ rules and reigns from Jerusalem, Ezekiel 47 and 48.

The prophet Jeremiah points out that this will be after the time of Jacob's Trouble, a seven year period of judgment, Jeremiah 30:7.

PM Olmert is wrong. There will be a greater Israel in the future.
